Tears

Every tear is a part of my heart.

Every tear is question, "why?"

Every tear throbs and breaks.

Every tear is laden with pain.

Every tear is an opportunity to change.

Every tear teaches me to wait.

Every tear makes me fall to my knees.

Every tear is a cry, "Abba, Father."

Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you. For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
